I temporarily divide your task into two groups: main and secondary. Your main task in Bridge Race consists of two parts: running back and forth to collect and carry as many bricks as possible to build bridges across the river/ straight ahead. The secondary task is to stop the enemy by facing in front of them to defeat them and drop the bricks they are carrying on their shoulders. If you play alone with the AI, the more scenes you pass, the higher the score will be. If you play with many other people, whoever survives to the end wins the game. But in my opinion, playing with many people is much more fun.

Like the life principle that people often say “put the first brick”. Whoever lays the first foundation for the bridge will own that territory to build the next parts. You should do the same in this game. Because the number of bridges to be built will be less than the number of builders. Once you’ve built it, the opponent can’t do anything anymore.
But luckily, your opponent can’t touch your unfinished bridge. This applies to single-player mode. You are free to continue to bring bricks then return without fear of losing the unfinished part only with a condition being that the number of bricks you have on your shoulder must be more than the number of bricks that the enemy is paving on their bridge. In my opinion, it is too privileged.
A second trick that I think you should also know before playing Bridge Race is: don’t believe what you are seeing. I’m talking about the correlation between the number of bricks obtained and the estimate of your bridge length. In my experience of playing through nearly a dozen scenes, the bridge is always longer than you think. Given so, you will need more bricks. So, the thing to do after “laying bricks” is to collect as many bricks as possible. If you lack it, you must collect more. If you lack only 1 or 2 bricks, it will be very inconvenient! Meanwhile, excess of the needed bricks is better because you can immediately build a foundation for one more next brick.
The third note is: Don’t let the game’s colorful colors confuse your brain. You must collect bricks, but also don’t forget to stop the opponent. They are also the builders who are doing the same thing. The color of them and the bricks they need to collect is different from yours. To stop these opponents, you need to appear in front of them, bump and knock them down, dump all the bricks they have. That means it is also important to pay attention because they can do the same thing to you.

Every time you finish building a bridge or get interesting items while playing (except for collecting bricks), you will have bonus points. Some cool items along the way sometimes also bring many benefits to you such as Speeding coins which can help you run twice as much as usual and collect bricks at a super speed; Or an item that freezes the opponent, when using it, everything except you will stand still for a certain period so you can freely do what you want.
What’s interesting here is the reward mechanics. When the opponent falls, the brick falls to the ground and will automatically turn gray. At this point, you can immediately collect these bricks and turn them into the color of your bricks. Of course, like every other game, some points are still not good. In Bridge Race, a small annoyance while playing the game is that you must go to the right part where there is a lack of bricks to continue building. I didn’t find it inconvenient at first. But after a few scenes, the opponent was more abundant, the bridge length increased and the number of bricks to be collected increased many times. In the middle of the fire, I had to go back and forth the entire length of the bridge, it made me exhausted and inhibited.
Graphics and sounds
Bridge Race’s graphics are extremely minimalistic, in color block style. All that you can see and admire in the game is just monochromatic blocks of color, from the figure of the builder to the bridge and brick… But this simplicity makes the competition more interesting.
