BitLife is the latest simulation game of the publisher Candywriter. They are not so popular on Google Play, but with just four games, they have made a huge impact on the gaming community. Their games often get their favorite players, as evidenced by, BitLife has received more than 10 million downloads on Google Play with a lot of 5-star reviews. Here are some things I like about this game:
Gameplay
Life is like a story. You don’t know what will happen next, the miracles will happen in your life or you will not even know when this story is over. Basically, BitLife’s gameplay is similar to visual novel games. Only thing, instead of choosing lines for the character, you will choose an action for each of the main character’s timeline. The game lists a series of events for each year. Even the first time your mother takes you to a vaccination, you can choose between sitting still obediently or biting your mother’s hand to protest. Click the Age button to increase the age of the protagonist, and see what will happen in their lives.
Each character in BitLife has four basic indicators including Happiness, Health, Smart, Look. In particular, health is the most important factor. It allows you to have more opportunities in later life. For example, you can join the school’s rugby team and have the opportunity to sign a famous club. Appearance does not affect too much of your future. When you have a lot of money, you can have plastic surgery to increase your Look.
Remember, some choices can lead you to death. After joining the army, I was assigned a mine-clearing mission (gameplay is similar to Minesweeper). My mission is to find three mines. And in the end, my character died when he is 23.
